The Best Dressed Ladies from each of Yorkshire’s finest horse racing events attended Saturday’s St Ledger event, held at York, as opposed to its traditional venue of Doncaster, for the Final of Yorkshire’s Best Dressed Lady Racegoer.
Sally Cooper, of North Ferriby, had previously been a finalist at Beverley’s glamourous Ladies Day in August. However, it was winning the Best Dressed Lady competition at York’s prestigious Ebor meeting, which qualified Sally for the overall final. After the prizes were awarded Sally said “I really didn’t set out to win, being a finalist at my home course of Beverley was special, to win at Ebor Ladies Day amazing but to win the Yorkshire Final ….. I am lost for words!” |
